Aaron Lutze's Crewkerz Jealousy

It’s amazing that the world champion rides essentially the same exact bike, right out of the box. I doubt any other bike rider in any discipline can do this, which speaks so highly to the effort that has gone into making the Crewkerz Jealousy. I would have happily done the same, but couldn’t resist making a change to the drivetrain by swapping out the front freewheel for an Industry Nine rear hub. I’m so unbelievably happy with this bike, although when the shorter frames come available, I may consider going slightly shorter (this frame is a Large - 1085mm wheelbase).

Rear Wheel

Custom built by Matt Gilman - Industry Nine Hydra hub laced up to a Crewkerz WAW rim. Same gear ratio as the original Crewkerz drivetrain (15t rear).

Chainring

Absolute Black chainring (18t) - Narrow Wide Narrow chainring, super light and strong. Fits perfectly on the Crewkerz WAW cranks. KMC e101 chain, strong enough for eBike torque, so I know it’ll hold up for Trials.

Weight

Out of the box, the bike was 19.2 lbs (8.7 kg) and with the new drivetrain, it’s 19.6 lbs (8.89 kg). Hilariously light, but plenty strong to hold up to whatever I can throw at this bike. Everything feels solid, even the carbon fork.
